A shared history of building software
Blue Edge Software / Business Objects
Enterprise information delivery
Blue Edge developed technology enabling organisations to securely distribute personalised business intelligence content.
The platform combined Java-based server technology with a web interface, allowing Business Objects information to be delivered according to individual user profiles and permissions.
A member of today's Bounce team was Blue Edge's first employee and lead developer, playing a central role in developing the product and its subsequent acquisition by Business Objects.
The current team's working relationship began at Business Objects, where the technology continued to be developed and integrated.
Mantic Point
RFID technology and research
Mantic Point researched and developed RFID-based passenger and item tracking technology, including applications within airport environments.
The work involved substantial R&D, working prototypes and pilot projects, and resulted in patented technology.
The company attracted investment from Rolls-Royce to support its RFID-focused work.
Members of today's Bounce team held senior technical roles in the venture.
Antivia / DecisionPoint
Enterprise business intelligence
Antivia developed software designed to make business information more accessible, useful and actionable.
DecisionPoint was built on established backend technology providing data connectivity, processing and security, with new frontend applications for creating and distributing dashboards.
Dashboards could be accessed through a web portal or embedded within other applications and documents.
The product achieved international enterprise adoption, and Antivia was subsequently acquired by insightsoftware.
Following the acquisition, members of today's Bounce team continued providing technical and engineering leadership, supporting product integration, team integration and improvements to development practices.

Deckible
Digital publishing and platform modernisation
Bounce Digital was initially engaged to explore the potential of an existing digital publishing system.
That engagement led to the development of a mobile application using the client's existing backend.
As the product evolved, Bounce introduced a new API layer and subsequently replaced the legacy backend to support further product development.
The relationship continues, with ongoing development and support across the platform.

The platform supports strategic decisions about building and space requirements, including evaluating opportunities to retain, consolidate or expand property portfolios.

Recovery App
Working alongside a charity specialising in substance addiction recovery, Bounce Digital developed an application based on the charity's concept.
The live application is designed to help people establish and maintain progress through their recovery journey.
Related team project — Rebound
Nitrous Reporting App
Developed through Bounce Digital's sister company, Rebound, this live application enables people to report locations where nitrous oxide canisters have been discarded.
The reports help identify areas requiring cleanup or further attention.
